Yohji Yamamoto Femme fall winter 2018 Ruffled Kimono Coat
Size 2 (fits like sample size aka 8)
A meaningful collection to Yohji with code language being used within the show; a cropped female nude appeared "hommage" followed by "1. M. Cubisme" and "2. Mon cher Azzedine" - which indicates the show was devoted the the passing and close friendship of Alaia which dates back to 1987. The coat, a suede brushed cotton texture, twice layered mummified wrapping pattern structure, which the fabric extensions finish and dangle as ruffles, sculptured kimono tailored sleeves, cubism collar leading to a hood and many more details. This is as true Yohji as it gets. One for the true collector. This was look 1 of the runway being the key piece, exclusive to flagships Aoyama and Paris.
