Beanie Babies Bears
Occasion
Previously owned by a collector, this Valentino ty Beanies Babies Bear has a body and head in near mint condition. However, the Hang tag has some obvious wear and light creases. It is a 5th generation tag. The Tush tag is a 6th generation tag that has a clear mark inside the Tush tag. This may constitute 2 substantial tag errors. Valentino was copyrighted in 1993. It was released January 7, 1995; and, retired December 31, 1998. There were only 6 generations of Valentino. But, the mark inside the Tush tag indicates that the Tush tag may have been erroneously marked as a 7th generation Tush tag. That is a substantial error. Next this Valentino bear has black eyes each measuring 1/4 inch in diameter with a 1/4 inch space between the left and right eye. The eyes are in bright shiny condition with no scratches or damage. The nose is brown and in mint condition. Threats have the following errors: 1. The left ear has 2 front sides. 2. The left ear is sewn on backwards. 3. The right ear also has 2 front sides. 4. The right ear is sewn on backwards. Laid horizontal and flat, the distance from the top of the ears to the feet bottoms measures roughly 9 inches. The maximum width from outside of the left arm to the outside of the right arm measures 6 inches. The maximum depth occurs by measuring from the back of the head to the front of the snout and measures roughly 2.5 inches. The actual weight of this bear is roughly 4.8 ounces. Valentino ships in a well packed, sturdy box. He would be a great addition to a collection or as a special gift. The tag and physical errors are a big part of this price.
