This listing is for an AMAZING Valentino Men's Peacoat!!! This piece holds true to Valentino's classic and timeless design aesthetic. Valentino takes the classic peacoat silhouette and puts his own twist on it by adding a side zipper closure, adding a detachable fur/hide around the neck (see pictures #3 & #4), and doing the shell in cotton poplin with a washed texture to the fabric (see picture #7 for detail). He completes the pice by adding a chunky zipper (see picture #9) and beautiful buttons with Valentino embossed in each button (see picture #10). All these details come together to create a classic and eye-cathing piece!!! And what I love most about this piece is the brown color is versatile to pair with jeans or khakis. You are sure to get a TON of wear out of this piece because of its versatility. Another thing to note is that the inside grey lining is removable and snaps out with 3 buttons on each side of the jacket. You can see picture #5 with the grey lining inside and picture #6 with the lining taken out. The grey lining is pretty thin so it won't make a huge difference either way in terms of warmth. The shell of this jacket is made of 100% cotton and has a washed texture to the fabric. The inside removable lining is 55% viscose, 45% cupro. I'm not quite sure what the removable collar piece is made out of as it is not listed on the item's contents tag. My guess is that it is some type of goat hide, but like I said, I'm not 100% sure. The 2 front pockets are extra large and make it easy to get your hands in and out. There is one additional pock on the inside of the jacket on the right lapel. The coat is a size 38 (which is approximately a US size Medium). I am wearing the jacket in the first picture and I am about 6 feet tall, 150 pounds and usually take a size 38 in suits/outerwear. The design of this piece is a slim/modern fit. Because of the sizing conversion, please check the following measurements to ensure desired fit: - Chest across (arm-pit to arm-pit) = 19 1/2 inches - Bottom across = 22 inches - Sleeve length (from seam at shoulder to bottom of cuff) = 26 1/2 inches - Top (from back of neck) to bottom of jacket = 30 inches This is a SUPER rare find from the fashion house of Valentino. The coat is brand new, however it is missing the original Valentino handtags. There is also one minor defect with the jacket - you can see in picture #11 that the label has a minor wrinkle in it and actually the top left corner of that label has come loose. That is where the Valentino tag originally hung and I think it got a little shopworn in the store before I purchased this item.
