The Pelikan 400NN M&K was manufactured in 1973 by MERTZ & KRELL, a subsidiary of Pelikan at the time, in response to demands from the Japanese market for a reproduction of the 400NN, a masterpiece fountain pen from the 1950s and 1960s. It can be considered a relatively young vintage model.
However, in addition to the classical form, the pen also features ebonite cores and a rich barrel color.
