This work print was made in Japan under the official permission of Klein by a Tokyo publisher who produced his photo exhibition (and accompanying catalog) that toured Japan in 1987-88. It was made for use in the production and promotion of the exhibition and what is classified as a work print. These exhibitions were held at:

- Printemps Department Store, Ginza, Tokyo, September 10 - 29, 1987.

- Navio Department Store, Umeda, Osaka, May 20, June 14, 1988.

Details:

Vintage, glossy, RC medium weight gelatin silver print. In the top left corner the image has been retouched to darken the image for publishing. Under the image in blue marker is the Japanese inscription "Pottetoh Yohenkyaku". This means is was used for publishing in a Japanese magazine called "Potato" and that the print should be returned after using. On the reverse is a credit label in both English and Japanese.

Size: 8 x 10 inches (204 mm x 254 mm).

Condition: Print in Very Good condition with remnants of labels, stickers and tape once affixed to the reverse. There are small pinholes in all four corners, a result of when this print was used in the engraving process.
