Up for sale is one of Azzedine ALAIA's classic designs -- sapphire blue wool blend knit full skirt, that flares out, with fitted bodice and oversized regal collar that folds over framing your face. The intricate design of back zip closure and collar in the back makes this dress super special even by ALAIA standards - so usual while being unmistakably French and elegant! First pic is of a celeb wearing a similar gown version of dress to the red carpet. The fabric is a super thick Alaia jersey, textures and complex, in the gorgeous sapphire blue and complete with scalloped edging! To boot, the length is a SUPER RARE MIDI - so in right now!!! The dress is super easy to put on with stretch fabric and back zip closure! This cut is incredibly flattering and produces a perfect silhouette! This dress is an essential part of any wardrobe -- it goes from the office to after-hour cocktails given its beautiful cut and unexpected detailing!
Fabric: Wool blend (heavy and substantive fabric). 50% wool, 25% viscose, 25% nylon, 5% poly. Of course, this is 100% AUTHENTIC AZZEDINE ALAIA!
This collectable dress is in excellent condition, new without tags!
Size is FRENCH 44. Alaia typically runs small but there is some stretch in this design and in my opinion it can fit US 8-10. Please know what you wear in Alaia, as I cannot be held responsible for poor fit. Approximate FLAT measurements: Chest 17", Waist 13 3/4", Hip full", Length 42". There is at least 4-6" of stretch throughout except in length. Made in Italy.
