This is an original Art Institute of Chicago black messenger bag. It was only available to members as part of their annual membership gift they received from the Museum. This bag was the gift in 2010 to commemorate the opening of the Museum's new modern wing in May, 2009.
As you can see from photo #2, this bag is BRAND NEW and has NEVER BEEN USED. It is still in its original packaging. I only opened it up to take photos.
The bag is made out of nylon fabric. It is the "messenger bag" style, has a front panel pocket that closes with velcro (photo 5). The main compartment also closes with velcro (photo 6). The bag also has an interior zippered pocket (photo 7). Finally, the bag also has an adjustable shoulder strap (photo 8).
It is approximately 14"W by 15" H (22"H if you can include the handles)
