Neuf
Embrace the elegance of Japanese culture with this vintage 1950s silk pajama set with slippers, and kimono, complete with its original box. The beautiful and exquisite embroidery is a testament to the intricate craftsmanship of Japanese artisans. This rare red set is not only a collector's item but also a treasure trove of Japanese cultural heritage.
The set was manufactured in Japan and embodies the essence of Japanese culture and tradition. The pajama set and kimono are perfect for a costume party or as a unique addition to your wardrobe. This charming piece is ideal for collectors who appreciate the beauty of Japanese artistry.
This looks to be size small and never worn. It may have been brought back after WW2 as a gift per the estate sale. The fabric is delicate, unstained, no tears or damage noticed. The protective box shows slight signs of wear, fading, and has a small tear to the cardboard bottom from crush damage, but nothing torn to the outside. The mirror is not cracked or frosted, and the little slipper pocket is in fine shape. It's really a very unique and gorgeous set that would display fantastic!
We did have a difficult time getting the set back in the box after unfolding for pictures. We did not want to risk ironing down flat again.
