One Pair  Medical/Surgical Graduated Compression Class I  thigh high stay up stockings including Tactel climate effect technology ensuring breathability in wear and velvety touch.( Items made with Tactel® offer several benefits. Tactel® is said to dry eight times faster than cotton, but it is at least twice as soft as most other fibers. Tactel® is versatile nylon fabric and rapidly becoming a viable alternative to cotton. In addition, this fabric is three times as resilient as comparable natural fibers).

The advanced technology used in the manufacture of this range has been proved to increase elasticity to aid ease of application to the leg.

Graduated compression stockings are of most benefit to individuals with the following leg complaints:

·         All measurements should be taken on the bare leg, whilst standing (if possible).

·         Ensure that the tape measure is snug but not too tight.

·         Measurements should be taken when the leg is rested and not swollen. It is best to measure earlier in the day before swelling builds in the legs. Measurements taken later in the day after swelling is present may result in choosing a stocking size that is too large.

To determine if these are the right stockings for you, measure the circumference (b) of your ankle right above the ankle bone. Next measure the circumference(c) of your calf at the fullest part of the calf, and also measure the circumference (d) of your calf just below your knee, then measure the circumference of your upper thigh(f) and measure your upper tight near groin(g). Finally measure the distance (A – G) from a point just below you groin to the ground while standing.

Please be aware that because the design of the sock, they require a degree of effort to stretch and put on and should be used with caution in people with severe arthritis or weakness in their upper limbs.

Care Instructions:

The use of skin care products (such as skin creams, body lotion, or powder) as well as various skin types (such as dry or peeling skin) and hair growth may prevent the silicone band from keeping the thigh high in place.
To improve the performance of the silicone band under the above conditions, we recommend the following steps:

-turn the thigh high stockings inside out before washing.

-before the main wash, thoroughly hand wash the silicone band using a delicate fabric detergent. Concentrate on removing any lotion, powder, hair or other foreign material from the silicone.

Follow the "Application and Care Instructions" included in the garments package.

Wash gently with mild soap or detergent in lukewarm or cold water. Do not wring or twist. Rinse until water is clear. Roll in towel to remove excess moisture. Dry away from heat and sunlight.

Refund will be offered in the unlikely event that the description is completely different to the goods you receive.

All items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.  If the item is faulty notification must be made to us within 48 hours of purchase.  A full refund of the item purchased  will be issued  when we have received the item unworn, undamaged with all labels attached and with the purchase receipt and in its original sealed packaging. All postage costs involved in exchanges are at the buyer`s expense. Shipping cost is non-refundable for undelivered, unclaimed, returned and refused packages, unless we made an error.
