Very cool, vintage socks! They are actually from my own childhood (1950s/1960s) and I have kept them all this time, really! They are cashmere knee highs with a red and black modified cat print design on a pale taupe background. I think I used these for cross country skiing.
The length of the foot is 7" so about a women's shoe size of 7 or about q 5-1/2 youth.
They are still nice and stretchy but do have a hole near the top of one, easy to be darned if you know how! Otherwise, clean with no stains or odors.
