This is a 1980s vintage Yeohlee Cape / Kimono wrap Rain coat with an attached scarf-style hood.
It is made in the USA in an oversized style.
This vintage Yeohlee coat has drop shoulders, full cut sleeves and a Kimono style overlap, double-button collar. It closes with two buttons in the collar. There is a pocket built into either side. It is cut very full through the body and flares down to an ankle length. The coat is fully lined.
Label: Yeohlee New York. Yeohlee Teng, originally from Malaysia, studied at the Parsons School of Design and opened her house in New York in 1981. Her work has been displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and at the Victoria and Albert museum.
Retailer label: Bergdorf Goodman on the Plaza New York
Colour: Outer - Corn flower blue with slight iridescent effect
Inner - taupe
Fabric label: 34% polyurethane 33% cotton 33% poly

Sizing: Size Small is indicated, but I would say that this vintage Yeohlee coat would accommodate an extra large size due to the oversized style of the coat.

Condition: This vintage Yeohlee coat is in very good condition with minimal wear and tear, no stains or odour - this vintage Yeohlee coat looks like it saw moderate use and was well cared for. It is patched professionally in two spots by the neck line, see photos.
